T. Alexander Puutio
Alexander Puutio is an author, professor, and leadership expert with over a decade of experience driving organizational excellence at the United Nations and Boston Consulting Group. He has taught at leading academic institutions, including Harvard Extension School, Columbia School of International and Public Affairs, and NYU Stern School of Business. His writing on leadership at Forbes reaches a wide global audience, and in recent years, he has engaged with more than 300 CEOs, including Warren Buffett, Ryan Gellert (Patagonia), Marc Benioff (Salesforce), and Jamie Iannone (eBay), to explore leadership strategy, organizational performance, and more. He has authored and edited several technical books on law and economics, with his latest mainstream project, AI for MBAs, forthcoming from Taylor & Francis.
Alexander’s consulting work spans both private and public sectors, focusing on strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and purpose-driven leadership. He has collaborated with a diverse client base, including the C-Suite of Fortune 500 companies, international NGOs, and startups, addressing critical challenges in leadership and performance. Most recently, he founded Vertical AI, an AI-powered platform designed to enhance organizational decision-making and democratize effective solutions for CEOs worldwide.
