Andy Bandyopadhyay.

Andy Bandyopadhyay is the founder and CEO of Attune Insights, a B2B SaaS platform that makes it easy for financial institutions to better align their products and services with the financial health needs of their clients.

Andy was one of the first tech hires at Varo, where he helped define and position Varo’s first product and scale up from an idea to 100,000 customers and a national bank charter. This led him to Even, an earned-wage access fintech, where he brought together data scientists and UX researchers to assess the impact of earned wage access on members’ financial lives. From there, the Financial Health Network, inventor of the FinHealth Score®, recruited him to develop a software platform to make it easy to measure financial health. Andy built Attune within the Financial Health Network, then spun it out into its own company with its first outside round of investment.

Alongside his industry and startup experience, Andy has maintained a consistent teaching practice. He teaches at the Berkeley Haas School of Business, where he challenges Silicon Valley founders to put people first, and at the Berry College MBA program, where he teaches business owners to build people-first research and data science functions.

Andy is also a science journalist focusing on LGBTQ2S+ issues. He specializes in interviewing medical professionals on queer issues and synthesizing and translating their insights to a general audience. He is a contributing writer at Xtra Magazine (an award-winning Canadian publication covering queer culture, politics, relationships, and health) and WebMD.
