Andy Storey.

Andy Storey (GMP23, HBS ’17) is a Navy veteran and former Senior Director of Labs at Harvard’s Data Digital Design Institute, a global research center focused on leveraging AI and digital technologies to advance business and society. With extensive leadership experience across government, finance, and technology sectors, Andy has taught at Harvard Business School and the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis. Currently, he teaches leadership coaching, AI, and digital transformation at Harvard DCE Professional & Executive Development 

Currently based in Washington, D.C., Andy leads the Global Resilience Operations, Critical Incident Management, and Strategic Response teams at TikTok. He actively coaches and mentors students, executives, and startup founders while frequently lecturing on topics such as building high-performing teams, critical decision-making, risk management, digital transformation, and AI.  

During his military career, Andy navigated a nuclear submarine to the North Pole, led expeditions to Antarctica, and held various command roles for over 18 years, driving innovation and delivering complex technologies to military service. He has also built strategic partnerships across public service, private sector, and non-profits, serving as a trusted advisor to senior officials in the UK and USA, including two British Prime Ministers. 

Following his graduation from Harvard Business School’s General Management Program in 2017, Andy led strategic global initiatives at Barclays in London before joining Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook) in the United States as the Critical Incident Management Lead for their Privacy and Public Policy organization.
