Andy Storey.

Andy Storey (GMP23, HBS ’17) is a Navy veteran with a wide range of ops, tech, and policy senior leadership experience from government service and both finance and tech sectors. Andy actively coaches and mentors a diverse group of students, mid-career executives, and startup founders, and is a Leadership Coach at Harvard Business School. He frequently lectures on building and leading high performing teams, critical decision making, and managing risk. Additionally, he is the Senior Director of Labs at the Harvard Digital, Data, and Design Institute (D^3), and is an adjunct professor at the prestigious United States Naval Academy in Annapolis.

Andy has built and maintained a wide range of strategic regional and global partnerships spanning public service, private sector, and non-profits. He has worked for two British Prime Ministers and is a trusted advisor to senior politicians, administration officials, and various agencies in the UK and USA.

After graduation from HBS in 2017, Andy was recruited by Barclays Bank in London to lead a range of challenging strategic initiatives across EMEA, APAC and the Americas to include complex renegotiation of commercial relationships with mission critical vendors. On return to the United States in 2020, he joined Meta Platforms (formally Facebook) as the Critical Incident Management Lead for the Privacy and Public Policy organization based in Washington DC.

Highlights from his military career include navigating a nuclear submarine to the North Pole, leading multiple expeditions to Antarctica as well as various challenging command assignments over 18 years. He has extensive experience leading innovation at scale to include delivery of highly complex new technologies to military service.
