Jim Davey
Jim Davey brings more than 30 years of senior leadership experience building and scaling global brands across the toy, games, photography, footwear, apparel, and entertainment industries. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Integrated Marketing at Hasbro, Inc., where he oversaw paid media, social media, influencer marketing, and advertising across the company’s global portfolio. Prior to Hasbro, Davey was Chief Marketing Officer at DXL Apparel, an omnichannel specialty retailer, where he guided all marketing functions and held P&L responsibility for the company’s e-commerce and Amazon businesses.
Earlier in his career, Davey served as Chief Marketing Officer at Timberland, a $1.6B global footwear and apparel brand within the VF Corporation, and as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Retail Development at Nickelodeon Consumer Products. He also held senior marketing roles at Polaroid and LEGO Systems, Inc., where he worked on global brand development, multiple product launches, and early initiatives in television, video games, and licensing. Davey began his career as a consultant at Global Partners, Inc., a boutique firm focused on global marketing strategy.
Davey is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, where he teaches MBA and undergraduate courses in Strategic Brand Management and Marketing Principles. He is also the Founder and Principal of Davey Marketing Group LLC, a consulting and advisory firm that works with B2B and B2C companies on brand strategy, digital marketing, integrated marketing communications, and organizational effectiveness.
Davey holds a BA in Economics and International Studies from Boston College and an MBA from the Olin Graduate School of Management at Babson College. He’s also a graduate of the CTAM Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School, focused on media, entertainment, and technology innovation.
