Laurie Pascal

Laurie Pascal is a Senior Lecturer in Health Management at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where she brings more than 30 years of industry experience in organizational behavior, strategy, and leadership into masters, doctoral, and executive education programs for clinical and administrative leaders. Her consulting work focuses on leadership and team development, organizational effectiveness and change, and facilitating strategic planning and implementation. Recent international clients include National Health Service England, KPMG/Queensland Health (Australia), Gulf Health Council (Middle East), and The New School for Leadership in Health Care (Taiwan). Recent U.S. clients include Partners HealthCare, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society of Clinical Oncology, U.S. Oncology Network/McKesson, and Massachusetts General Physicians Organization. Her leadership coaching practice supports mid- and senior-level executives in healthcare, biotech, academia and other industries in enhancing their leadership and management capabilities, with a specialty working with individuals who desire to or are in the process of taking on new roles.

Previously, she was Vice President of Business Development & Planning and Vice President of Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and formerly held senior executive positions in health insurance, financial services, and academia. She currently serves on the Boards of Trustees of Lasell University, Lasell Village Senior Living Community, and Goddard House Assisted Living. She holds an MBA in Marketing and Organizational Behavior from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, an MPH in Management and Policy from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan. She is also certified by the Center for Executive Coaching.

She received the Outstanding Teaching in Continuing and Professional Executive Education Award (Harvard Chan School) in 2019 and was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Pine Manor College in 2012. She is an avid mystery reader and word puzzler, sings in a chorus, and is an avid traveler (all 7 continents!) while enjoying her multi-generational family.
