The Value of Learning the Ethics of AI

In an era where AI rapidly shapes industries, understanding its ethical dimensions is no longer optional — it’s imperative. From the creation of virtual assistants like Alexa to the emergence of generative AI chatbots like ChatGPT, this program is designed to empower senior leaders to comprehend the intricacies of AI technologies and hone the skills necessary to mitigate biases and ensure ethical integrity within their organizations.

While AI adoption has more than doubled in the last five years, the lack of progress on mitigating AI-related risks is a consistent concern, according to McKinsey. Our program not only explores the dynamic landscape of AI but also provides practical strategies for responsible technology implementation and use. Participants will uncover ways to reduce data use liabilities in AI product development and harness tools that aid in overcoming biases and increasing outcome fairness and accountability. Additionally, the program delves into strategies for effectively managing teams incorporating AI in their daily work.

This program is tailored to leaders actively engaged in AI technologies and goes beyond unraveling the intricacies of AI; it cultivates the skills required to navigate its ethical dimensions effectively. Through immersive case studies and dynamic discussions and exercises, participants will gain actionable strategies to confront ethical challenges head-on. You will return to work well-versed in the expansive AI landscape and ready to more effectively integrate both strategic and ethical AI practices into your organization.

FAQs

What are the ethical concerns of AI?

Despite increasing AI adoption, there’s still a lack of progress in mitigating AI-related risks. These ethical concerns can be found in algorithmic and human bias that can appear in AI responses and in questions about data privacy and use. Other questions around the ethical use of AI include how AI is or is not currently regulated and how to ethically develop and train AI models.
