Jonathan Levene
Jonathan Levene is Director of Talent Management at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world-renowned Harvard-affiliated academic medical center in Boston, dedicated to cutting-edge cancer research, exceptional patient care, and advancing prevention, diagnosis, and treatment worldwide. In his role, Levene is responsible for driving retention, engagement, and performance for a workforce of 10,000 faculty and staff. His team’s areas of accountability include Leader & Manager Development, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Career Development, Team Effectiveness, Talent Reviews, and Succession Planning Processes.
Previously, Levene served as Head of Leadership Development at Biogen, a global pharmaceutical company of 9,000 employees. He also served as co-founder of ClearSight Leadership, an executive leadership and team effectiveness consultancy specializing in the healthcare and biopharmaceutical industries, as well as an executive coach and facilitator in Harvard Business School Executive Education programs.
Levene earned a BSc and MEng in Computer Engineering at MIT and an MBA in Marketing from Babson College. He is an ICF-certified executive coach (PCC), having completed his training and certification in Executive Coaching from William James University. He is also certified in 11 different assessments spanning leadership, teaming, personality, and employee engagement, including the Hogan Assessment suite (HPI, HDS, and MVPI), the Leadership Circle 360, and the Leadership Versatility Index 360.
Levene grew up in Toronto, Canada, speaking French, and enjoys playing upright bass in a local Jazz ensemble. He has a longstanding interest in mindfulness, in which he is a certified teacher, and a passion for grilling with his family.
