Madeline McNeely
Madeline McNeely’s mission is to condition leaders and organizations to do meaningful work for decades. Conditioning Leaders LLC, the company she founded in 1994, works with organizational leaders to produce high-quality results, design collaborative processes, and cultivate and sustain trusting relationships. McNeely is a multi-sector, interdisciplinary leader who uses an outcomes-based approach to promote organizational and individual growth and sustainability.
For more than 25 years, McNeely has been a coach, consultant, facilitator, and trainer for leaders in business, government and nonprofit settings. She is a master-level coach who develops other coaches. Her areas of expertise include diversity, equity, inclusion, leadership and neuroscience, trust building, organizational development, culture change, team building and group dynamics, facilitation, supervision and management, meeting management, partnerships/collaboration, women in leadership, and executive and career coaching.
McNeely loves coaching because she knows the “soft stuff is the hard stuff.” She has designed and taught classes on leadership mastery, cultivating presence, and embodied leadership. Supporting clients to think in innovative ways and develop new habits to solve their most vexing challenges is her sweet spot.
She has worked with over 100 leaders and teams ranging from youth workers to nonprofit professionals, doctors to C-suite executives. McNeely is affiliated with the Skyline Group, Interaction Associates, Trinity Connects and Third Sector New England. Her corporate clients include Exelon, Medidata Solutions, Putnam Investments, PwC, and Shire Plc., while her nonprofit clients include City Year, Justice Resource Institute Inc., and Catholic Charities. In addition, McNeely teaches Non-Profit leadership and Community Engagement at Harvard Extension School and is Coach, Facilitator and Coach Recruiter at Harvard Business School. Madeline has a chapter in Millennials in Wonderland, a book about how best to coach millennials. She co-authored How to Adopt a Coaching Mentality and Practice for Harvard Professional Development’s blog.
She is certified as a coach and trainer in both Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ) and Leadership Embodiment. She is also a certified Integral yoga teacher. McNeely earned her bachelor’s degree in International Development from Lewis & Clark College and an M.Ed. from Temple University.
