Maeve Coburn

Maeve Coburn is founder of MaeveWorks LLC, OD Consulting, Coaching and Board Advisory. A seasoned global executive, she has more than 30 years of leadership experience at three Fortune 500 companies: L’Oreal, Estee Lauder, and Lafarge Corporation. Bringing a wealth of hands-on knowledge along with a unique talent for executive and team development, she can offer unparalleled insights and guidance on how to transform organizations to become more agile and innovative with a human-centric approach.

Previously, Maeve served on the Executive Committee of L’Oreal USA for more than 15 years. She has held multiple brand P&L roles, including serving as General Manager for skincare and haircare brands (Kerastase, La Roche Posay, Vichy), SVP Marketing (Lancome USA), Executive Director (Aveda at Estee Lauder) and SVP HR Learning and Development (L’Oreal Americas). Earlier in her career, she was Country Manager in Ireland and Product Manager in Paris and London for the L’Oreal group. Prior to her MBA, she worked in R&D as a process engineer in Paris. Out of college, she was the first female engineer hired worldwide by Lafarge Corporation, a global leader in construction materials, and was based in San Antonio, Texas.

In addition to her corporate leadership roles, Maeve actively contributes to the broader business and entrepreneurship community. She serves as an advisory board member for Autumn Harp, a premier contract R&D and manufacturing firm in the beauty and personal care industry, and mentors aspiring entrepreneurs through the MIT NYC Start-up Studio and the Grace Institute. A Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation, she holds certifications in International Systemic Team Coaching and Gestalt Organization and Leadership Development. She is also a founding member of the MIT Sloan Women of New York. Beyond her professional pursuits, Maeve is a dedicated 500-hour ISHTA yoga teacher, fluent in French, and an Irish national as well as a U.S. citizen.
